Wharton Undergraduates In Public Policy
At WUPP, we mold the policymakers, leaders, and lawmakers of tomorrow.
WUPP is the number one destination for Penn students interested in any aspect of public policy. If you’re interested in learning about policymaking systems, pursuing a career in public policy, or engaging with the issues facing the world today, WUPP has the resources and capacity to support you.
From case competitions to renowned speakers and judges, WUPP members are on the forefront of modern public policy issues. Past events have featured distinguished leaders such as Andrew Yang — entrepreneur, author, philanthropist, non-profit leader, and U.S. presidential and New York City mayoral candidate — and Dr. Boris Lushniak, former U.S. Surgeon General, offering students unique opportunities to learn directly from experts shaping today’s policy landscape. Our programming also includes an annual career trek to Washington, D.C. and twice-yearly Policy Summit, where members can gain first-hand exposure to policymaking and professional pathways in the field.
